WATERVILLE, Maine — The North Atlantic Conference announced its 2025-26 men's basketball preseason coaches' poll on Tuesday, with Maine Maritime Academy picked to finish fourth.

The Mariners earned 65 points in the voting, trailing preseason favorite Husson University, which totaled 98 points and eight first-place votes. The University of Maine at Presque Isle followed in second with 86 points and the remaining two first-place tallies, while the University of Maine at Farmington placed third with 71 points.

Vermont State University Johnson rounded out the top five with 58 points, followed by SUNY Delhi (49 points), Thomas College (36 points), Vermont State University Lyndon (34 points), Lesley University (31 points), and SUNY Cobleskill (22 points).

Maine Maritime opens the 2025-26 season at home on Saturday against the University of New England, with tipoff set for 5 p.m.
