LEWISTON, Maine — The Maine Maritime Academy men's basketball team dropped a 107-59 decision to Bates College on the road Wednesday in non-conference action.
Maine Maritime (4-7) trailed Bates (9-0) 63-16 at the half, but played the Bobcats to a 44-43 second-half deficit before falling 107-59.
Freshman
Drew Hamilton and sophomore
Marcus Schade finished tied with 12 points.
Freshman
Aaron Pensel added six points, six rebounds and two blocks and fellow freshman
Noah Eckhart added five points, five boards and five assists.
Additionally, sophomore
Gabe Hagar recorded seven points, tying senior
Josiah Dancy who also finished with seven points.
The Mainers return to action on Dec. 30 when they host the University of Southern Maine.
