CASTINE, Maine — Kirra Magaña has been selected to compete in the 2025 USA Football Select Bowl, scheduled for June 18–21 in Los Angeles. Magaña earned the invitation following an impressive showing at the USA Football Adult Talent ID Camp on April 28 at Gillette Stadium, where she stood out for her speed, skill and leadership.

The USA Football Adult Talent ID Camps serve as a key entry point for adult athletes aspiring to represent the United States in international play. Part of the National Team Development Program (NTDP) and the 2026 U.S. National Team talent evaluation pathway, these one-day camps feature combine testing, flag-specific drills and competitive scrimmages, all overseen by U.S. National Team coaches and personnel.

"The ID Camp was an exciting and unforgettable experience," Magaña said. "I got valuable feedback from coaches and connected with athletes from all over the country. Being invited to the Select Bowl is a dream opportunity to compete at a high level and gain exposure in front of Team USA scouts."

The Select Bowl assembles top adult flag football players from across the country, offering them the opportunity to train and compete on a Select Team. The four-day event includes:

  • Two days of high-level competition and championship play
  • Multiple team practices with elite coaching staff
  • Team-building activities and strategic meetings
  • Walk-throughs and preparation with national team personnel

Athletes also participate in development sessions focused on:

  • Off-season technical and physical training
  • Mental performance coaching
  • Strength and conditioning
  • Nutrition and hydration
  • Recovery and wellness practices

Top performers at Adult Talent ID Camps may be invited to the 2026 U.S. National Team Trials, where they could earn the chance to represent the U.S. in international flag football competition. USA Football is the sport's governing body in the United States and is the only organization authorized to build and lead U.S. National Team programs, including for potential Olympic play.

By excelling at the April camp, Magaña has taken a significant step toward joining the ranks of the country's elite flag football athletes and representing Team USA on the global stage.
