CASTINE, Maine — The Maine Maritime Academy women's lacrosse team announced its upcoming 2026 schedule on Thursday 13 games including five at Ritchie Field.

"We can't wait to hit the field and raise the bar even higher this season," head women's lacrosse coach David Keenan said. "Our challenging nonconference slate, combined with the leadership of our returning players and the energy of a talented freshman class, gives us every reason to believe big things are ahead as we gear up for North Atlantic Conference play."

The Mariners open the 2026 season on the road Feb. 14 against the University of Southern Maine in a preseason scrimmage, before welcoming Norwich University on Feb. 27 for the home/season opener.

Following Norwich, the Mariners tangle with the University of New England on Mar. 3, Mount Saint Mary College on Mar. 5 and UMass Dartmouth on Mar. 7 as part of a three-game road stretch.

MMA returns home on Mar. 14 for its annual Admiral Cup battle against Massachusetts Maritime Academy before traveling to Salem, Mass. on Mar. 21 for a matchup against Salem State University.

NAC play begins on Mar. 28 when the Mariners host the University of Maine at Farmington, followed by a road matchup against defending conference champion Husson University on Mar. 31.

The Mariners begin the month of April at home against Thomas College on Apr. 3 and tangle with Suffolk University on Apr. 11 in nonconference action before closing out the regular season with three conference matchups.

Maine Maritime battles Husson on Apr. 18 in its final home stand before traveling to Thomas on Apr. 21 and UMF on Apr. 25 to conclude the regular season.
