LYNDONVILLE, Vt. — Maine Maritime Academy used a balanced scoring attack and efficient shooting to earn a 94-72 North Atlantic Conference victory over Vermont State University-Lyndon on Friday night at George W. Stannard Gymnasium.
Maine Maritime (10-13, 10-6 NAC) remained tied 42-42 with Lyndon (7-14, 5-9 ANC) at halftime and outscored the Hornets 52-30 behind a strong performance from freshman
Drew Hamilton, who scored a game-high 31 points, hitting 7 of 10 three-pointers and shooting 11-of-16 from the field.

Marcus Schade chipped in 11 points apiece as MMA shot over 60 percent from the field and connected on 63 percent of its 3-point attempts.
The Mariners maintained control throughout, outpacing the Hornets in the second half and finishing with a double-digit margin on the road. MMA's defense forced turnovers and limited Vermont State–Lyndon's scoring opportunities, helping preserve the lead after intermission.
