WATERVILLE, Maine — The North Atlantic Conference announced its all-conference awards on Thursday and Maine Maritime Academy had four student athletes honors.
Freshman
Drew Hamilton was crowned rookie of the year and all-conference third team. Hamilton finished the season averaging 16.1 points, 2.2 rebounds with 36 assists, 29 steals and three blocks. Hamilton earned NAC rookie of the week five times and was the Maine Men's Basketball Coaches and Writers Association Rookie of the Week four times.
Junior
Jack Banks took home all-conference first team honors ranking fifth in the North Atlantic Conference with 18.4 points per game. Banks averaged 7.2 rebounds per game with a team-high 75 assists to go along with 15 steals and 20 blocks. Additionally, Banks earned NAC player of the week once and Maine Men's Basketball Coaches and Writes Association player of the week once.
Sophomore
Marcus Schade earned third team honors finishing the season averaging 15.4 points per game with 3.7 rebounds, 47 assists, a team-high 38 steals and one block. Schade ranked 10th in the NAC in points per game and seventh in steals.
Additionally, senior
Josiah Dancy was selected to the conference sportsmanship team.
