WATERVILLE, Maine — The North Atlantic Conference announced its weekly award winners on Monday and Maine Maritime Academy women's lacrosse senior
Rebecca Caron was named player of the week while fellow senior
Ella Bowes took home defensive player of the week honors and freshman
Lauren Robinson was named rookie of the week.
Caron finished the week with four goals in two games helping the Mariners finish 1-1. Caron tallied five ground balls, three caused turnovers and nine draw controls.
Bowes racked up 27 saves over two games finishing 1-1 in cage including an 13 saves in a road win over Mount Saint Mary's College and 14 saves on the road against UMass Dartmouth.
Robinson notched her first collegiate goal on the road against Saint Mary's, finishing the day with four goals on five shot attempts, adding four ground balls on the week with two caused turnovers and four draw controls.
