Maine Maritime announces 2025-26 MESPYS

CASTINE, Maine — The Maine Maritime Academy Athletic Department hosted its annual end of the year awards (MESPYS) celebration on Thursday evening inside Smith Gym.

The annual awards event was renamed the MESPYS beginning for the 2025-26 celebration and recognizes both the outstanding athletic, academic and leadership qualities of the Mariners student athletes.

Mariners Elite 8 Award Recipients: The Elite 8 showcases our athletes as performers in the classroom. The award recognizes the men's and women's student-athletes with the highest cumulative grade point average in each eligibility class at the end of the fall term.
