CASTINE, Maine — The Maine Maritime Men's Basketball is excited to welcome Geramicah Davis, a 5'11" guard from Orange, Texas, to the 2026 recruiting class!

Geramicah comes to Castine from West Orange-Stark High School, where he put together an outstanding career and established himself as one of the most productive players in his district. As a senior, he averaged 17.6 points, 8.7 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 3.8 steals, and 1.2 blocks per game, impacting the game on both ends of the floor.

Geramicah helped West Orange-Stark capture a District Championship during his career while compiling an impressive list of individual honors. He was named First Team All-District as both a junior and senior, earned District Defensive MVP as a junior, and was named Newcomer of the Year as a freshman.

Geramicah also reached a major career milestone at West Orange-Stark, finishing his high school career as a 1,000-point scorer. On the AAU circuit, he competed with the Gulf Coast Wolves.

Away from basketball, Geramicah enjoys drawing and experiencing nature. He chose Maine Maritime because he felt Castine was a great fit and was excited about the opportunity to explore a different part of the country.

What They're Saying About Geramicah

Cedric Gillette, Head Coach, Maine Maritime:
"Geramicah is a plus athlete, a great competitor, and someone who has a winner's mindset every time he steps on the floor. What really stands out about him is how complete his game is. He's an extremely skilled player who can do everything on the court well. He can score it, create for others, rebound at a high level for his position, defend, and make plays with his athleticism on both ends of the floor. His production speaks for itself, but what we love most is the competitiveness and toughness behind that production. He plays to win and finds different ways to impact the game every night. After talking with his high school coach and hearing about the incredible impact Geramicah made on their program, I became extremely confident that he is not only the right type of player for our program, but also the right type of person. We think his combination of skill, athleticism, versatility, competitiveness, and character is going to make him a great fit for what we are building here."

Chris Castille, Head Coach, West-Orange Stark High School:
"I'd tell you that every team needs a player like you. Not just because of what you can do with a basketball, but because of who you are when you step on that court. You play through pain, you push yourself when it gets hard, and you inspire everyone around you to go beyond what they thought they were capable of. You don't just play the game. you give it everything you have. Your dedication, determination, and heart are what make you the kind of player every coach needs. Never forget that your impact goes far beyond the basketball"
