BANGOR, Maine — The Maine Maritime Academy men's golf team posted a fourth-place performance at the Husson Invitational on Saturday with a score of 312 (+28).
Senior
Mac McCarthy led the Mariners with a five-over par 76 finishing 11th, while junior
Anthony Picano posted a six-over par 77.
Sophomore
Nathan Baker added a seven-over par 78 and freshman
Andrew Sawyer concluded the Mariners scoring with a 10-over par 81.
Additionally, freshman
Patrick Marino added a 20-over par 91 and freshman
Lily Blanchard competed as an individual in the women's tournament posting third-place 13-over par 84.
The Mariners return to action on Tuesday when they host the University of Maine at Augusta for a head-to-head beginning at 1 p.m. at Castine Golf Club.
