WATERVILLE, Maine — The Maine Maritime Academy men's golf team finished sixth overall at the Colby SID Farr Invitational on Sunday hosted by Colby College at Waterville Country Club.
The Mariners finished with a 324 led by senior
Mac McCarthy who posted an eight-over par 78 to finish top 15.
Sophomore
Nathan Baker added an 11-over par 81, followed by freshmen
Patrick Marino and
Josh Fitzgerald who carded rounds of 82 and 83, respectively.
Additionally, freshman
Andrew Sawyer competed for the Mariners posting an 87 to conclude MMAs showing.
Maine Maritime returns to the course on Tuesday when its hosts its annual Mariners Invite at Augusta Country Club.
