MANCHESTER, Maine — The Maine Maritime Academy men's golf team returned to the course on Tuesday finishing tied for sixth at its annual Mariners Invitational at Augusta Country Club.
The Mariners carded a 326 as a team led by freshman
Patrick Marino who posted a seven-over par 77.
Senior
Mac McCarthy posted a 12-over par 82 followed by freshman
Andrew Sawyer who clubbed a 13-over par 83.
Freshman
Josh Fitzgerald added a 14-over par 84, while sophomore
Nathan Baker carded an 87 to conclude the Mariners showing.
Maine Maritime returns to the course on Sept. 29 for the Southern Maine Community College Invitational at Purpodock Golf Club.
