SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine — The Maine Maritime Academy men's cross-country team opened its 2026 season at the NCAA Regional Preview on Saturday hosted by Bates College.
Junior Williams Spaulding finished 10th with a time of 13:51.1 to pace the Mariners on the evening.
Freshman Francis Robinson posted a time of 15:18.0, while senior
Logan Serpico added a 15:31.2.
Additionally, freshman Lucas Ladd clocked a 15:52.0, followed by Joseph Valliere at 17:08.9 and sophomores
Daniel Soma and
Matthew Tita who also competed.
The Mariners return to action on Saturday at the NAC Preview Meet hosted by the University of Maine at Farmington.
