Maine Maritime Volleyball Standout Katie Clapham Jersey Raised Into Wall of Honor
Castine, ME. – Former Lady Mariner Volleyball standout, Katie Clapham (06'), was recently honored by having her jersey raised into the Wall of Honor in Margaret Smith Gymnasium on the campus of Maine Maritime.
Katie Clapham, a former Calais High School standout, was a member of the first club volleyball team in 2002 and the first varsity team in 2003. She was a four time North Atlantic Conference All-Star and holds 12 individual school records including kills in a match, kills in a season, and kills in a career. Katie is the first and only MMA player to have reached the 1000 kill milestone and holds the school record with a total of 1058 career kills.
A power engineering major, Katie graduated in 2006 with honors and went on to earn her Masters Degree from the Loeb Sullivan School of Logistics and International Business in 2007. Katie is the first Lady Mariner Volleyball player to join the Mariner Wall of Honor.
