Elamin Kubari joins the Maine Maritime Academy men's basketball program for his first season as Assistant Coach.
Kubari served as the men's basketball Assistant Coach at Central Maine Community College, helping lead the team to a 7-7 conference record and a quarterfinal playoff run in the YSCC tournament. Prior to CMCC, Kubari served as the boy's basketball Varsity Assistant and First Team Head Coach at Yarmouth High School, reaching the Class B quarterfinals. Before that, he was the boy's basketball Varsity Assistant Coach at South Portland High School. His team made it to the 2018 Class AA regional final.
Kubari graduated from the University of Southern Maine with a Bachelor of Science, and later received his Masters of Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire University.
