Maine Maritime Academy

Megan McLean returns to the Maine Maritime Academy women's basketball program for her third season as an Assistant Coach.

McLean, a four-year starter for the Mariners was named the 2018-19 Maine Maritime Female Leader of the Year, after an impressive career on the hardwood. McLean is the program's all-time leader in free-throw percentage (75.9) and capped off her career with the Mariners ranking fourth all-time in assists (254).

On the court, McLean helped lead the Mariners to back-to-back North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Championship appearances and carried that success to the classroom, earning a spot on the NAC All-Academic team for three-straight years. 

After graduating with a degree in International Business & Logistics from Maine Maritime in May 2019, McLean received a Master's in Sport Management from Southern New Hampshire University in November 2020. In 2021, McLean was selected to attend the NCAA Emerging Leaders Seminar.
