Kimika Forbes is in her first season as a volunteer assistant on the Maine Maritime women's soccer coaching staff in 2024. She will work with the Mariners goalkeepers.

Forbes played soccer and graduated from Monroe Community College in New York and Maine-Fort Kent, where she received an associate's degree in general studies and elementary education, respectively.

She has played professionally for six clubs including the Boston Breakers of the National Women's Soccer League and most recently for Millonarios FC in the Colombian Super League. She also has represented her country on the Trinidad and Tobago Women's National Soccer Team since 2006, including appearances in the 2011 and 2015 Pan American Games.

Forbes also has played on championship teams at the 2016 Copa Libertadores Femenina, where she was a finalist for CONCACAF Goalkeeper of the Year, and at CONMEBOL.[In the 2017 Liga Femenina, she had the fewest goals against her.

Forbes has previously worked as a sports advisor and video analyst for Pro Evolution Coaching in Canada.
