What made you come to Maine Maritime Academy?: I liked the community and was really interested in the IBL program.
What first got you interested in your sport?: My parents started me out in swim lessons and I soon figured out I was pretty good.
What has been your favorite class at MMA?: International Business.
What is the best advice your coach has given you?: Learn to like pain.
What motivates you to succeed?: When I lose...I don't like that, so that motivates me to be better.
What is your prized possession?: I have a really sweet baseball card collection.
What is your favorite book? (Non-academic): Busting Vegas.
What is something that people would be surprised to learn about you?: I'm a pretty decent cook.
What are your hopes for the future?: Getting a job and being happy.
What is a cause that is important to you?: Save the Turtles.
Tell us about something you are involved with here at MMA?: I work lines at the volleyball games.
Who is your favorite professional athlete? Why?: Mike Tyson...because I enjoy boxing and he's the baddest man on the planet.
