What made you come to Maine Maritime Academy?: Job security, superior engineering programs, and job opportunities.
What first got you interested in your sport?: My neighbor saw me with a baseball bat and told me to never pick that thing up again. Turns out he was the head lacrosse coach for the high school.
What has been your favorite class at MMA?: It is tough to choose, but probably welding.
What is the best advice your coach has given you?: Family and school come first.
What motivates you to succeed? : The thought of having a comfortable and fun future.
What is your prized possession?: My Colt .45 1911.
What is your favorite book? (Non-academic): City of Thieves.
What is something that people would be surprised to learn about you?: I got mad dyslexia.
What are your hopes for the future?: To colonize on Mars.
What is your favorite spot in Castine/on Campus? Why?: The weight room on the TSSOM.
What is a cause that is important to you?: Women's rights.
Tell us about a summer experience related to MMA?: There are far to many to tell. I've traveled to four places in Europe, two in the Middle East, and sailed on the Great Lakes all in three years.
Tell us about something you are involved with here at MMA?: I was the PTI (Physical training instructor) for Bravo CO.
What advice do you have for incoming freshman?: There's going to a lot thrown at you your first year. Try and keep your ears open and have fun.
What is your greatest challenge?: The academic work for my major.
What has been your favorite moment so far while playing at MMA?: Beating Husson on home turf for our last game of the season.
What are three things you have with you at all times?: Knife, ID, and boots.
