What made you come to Maine Maritime Academy?: The hands-on learning experience and the opportunities after graduation.
What first got you interested in your sport?: I just loved being apart of a team and meeting people through soccer.
What has been your favorite class at MMA?: Small craft construction.
What is the best advice your coach has given you?: To be a good leader you need to earn the trust of your teammates.
What motivates you to succeed?: My family and all the people that have helped me get to where I am now.
What is your prized possession?: My record collection.
What is your favorite book? (Non-academic): Blueberries for Sal.
What is something that people would be surprised to learn about you?: I love ceramics.
What are your hopes for the future?: Winning another NAC championship.
What is your favorite spot in Castine/on Campus? Why?: My favorite place is Markel’s. I go there once a week to get a Mexican BLT.
Tell us about a summer experience related to MMA?: I volunteered at the women’s soccer camp during the summer. It was so fun to show the high school girls around the school and help them improve on their skills as players.
What advice do you have for incoming freshman?: Enjoy every minute of college because it goes by quickly.
Tell us about something outside of MMA and athletics that you are really interested in: I love to snowboard and I would like to travel to different ski/snowboard areas around the world after I graduate.
