What made you come to Maine Maritime Academy?: The hands on classes and personalized relationships with the professors.
What first got you interested in your sport?: My mother played lacrosse growing up and continued playing during her college career.
What has been your favorite class at MMA?: Medical Person in Charge
What is the best advice your coach has given you?: Your mind will give up before your body. Mindset is everything.
What motivates you to succeed?: I like to push myself to go outside of my comfort zone. The best things that have happened to me have happened outside of my comforts zone.
What is your prized possession?: My prized possession are the journals I kept while traveling through Europe.
What is your favorite book? (Non-academic): In Oceans Deep.
What is something that people would be surprised to learn about you?: I traveled to 15 countries in 10 months.
What are your hopes for the future?: I hope to be working on a research vessel and on my time off I would like to travel.
What is your favorite spot in Castine/on Campus? Why?: My favorite spot in Castine is Fort Madison State Park. There is a tranquility when I sit by the calm water away from the hustle in town.
Tell us about something you are involved with here at MMA?: I am the president of Women on the Water. This program has helped me gain connections in the industry and learn from professionals.
What has been your favorite moment so far while playing at MMA?: My favorite moment while playing for MMA was when my parents came to visit from Colorado to watch me play.
