What made you come to Maine Maritime Academy?: The small campus with its global connection.
What first got you interested in your sport?: I wasn't very good other sports to be honest. But with running you simply run as fast as you can and to improve you run more. It's straight forward, and that's why I like it.
What has been your favorite class at MMA?: Physics.
What is the best advice your coach has given you?: "Attack the hills, focus on your breathing, and finish strong."- Coach Wolf
What motivates you to succeed?: Trying to one up my eight siblings to be the become the best Veverka.
What is your prized possession?: My motorcycle.
What is your favorite book? (Non-academic): The Very Hungry Caterpillar.
What is something that people would be surprised to learn about you?: I keep seasoning in my wallet, for those seasoning emergencies.
What are your hopes for the future?: To graduate, start a family, move to the country side, start a farm, raise a herd of cows (maybe some chickens as well), and to be happy.
What advice do you have for incoming freshman?: Join cross country, we have snacks.
What has been your favorite moment so far while playing at MMA?: NAC's 2018, a combination of running and mud, lots of mud.
What are three things you have with you at all times?: A hat (always backwards), water bottle, and my Military ID.
Which teammate has had the biggest impact on you? Why?: Cole Brundige, he showed me how fast I actually was during races.
