Presque Isle, ME - The MMA Lady Mariners Cross Country team
finished in third place with a score of 71 at the UMPI Invitational
on Saturday. Courtney Dufour (Augusta, ME) and Casey McCloskey
(Howland, ME) paced the Lady Mariners, finishing in 8th and 9th
place respectively.
Angela Stauble from Husson University won the individual honors
with a time of 21:17 while Katie Christoffel (UMPI), Theresa Martin
(Husson), Carly Langley (UMPI), and Kaitlin Noyes (Husson) rounded
out the top five.
Dufour (24:22) and McCloskey (24:27) were the top two Lady
Mariner runners while Laurel Evanofski (Contoocook, NH) finished in
13th place. Samantha Deplanche (Dover, NH) placed 18th while
Lindsay Hayden rounded out the MMA runners in 24th place.
