HENNIKER, N.H. – Both keepers kept a clean sheet as Maine Maritime Academy battled New England College to a scoreless draw in North Atlantic Conference (NAC) men's soccer on Saturday. William Trace Lacour (Charlottesville, Va.) posted four saves in pitching his eighth shutout of the season.

The Mariners (7-4-3, 4-3-2 NAC) fired off 12 shots, sending seven wide. The Pilgrim's (6-8-3, 2-3-3 NAC) keeper, Robbie Fuller came up with five saves. The draw was the Mariners second on the road in their last three contests. It was the third tie for Maine Maritime this season and the second scoreless tie of the 2011 campaign.

Nate Tipton (West Chester, Pa.) accounted for four of MMA's advances with three on net. Nick El-Hajj (Winterport, Maine) fired off three shots, placing one on goal.

The Mariners wrap up the regular season on Sunday with a home match against Maine-Presque Isle.
