BRUNSWICK, Maine – Women's cross country finished fifth overall at the Bowdoin Invitational of Saturday, September 13^th. Jessica Faltings (Northport, N.Y.) placed 51^st overall out of 85 runners to pace the Mariners on the 5k course.

Faltings was the third NAC runner to place in the event.

Tufts University grabbed the team victory placing the top seven runners in the event. Junior Audrey Gould grabbed first place with a time of 18:06.90. Teammates Olivia Beltrani, Kelly Fahey, Lindsay Atkeson, and Prudence Sax rounded out the top five finishers. 

Caroline Martin (Scarborough, Maine) was the next finisher for the Mariners, finishing the course in 22:27.58 good enough for 55^th place.

The Mariners will return to action next Saturday, September 20^th at the Unity Invitational.
