NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass. – Maine Maritime Academy women's cross country finished 30th out of 42 teams at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational on Saturday.
Jessica Faltings (Northport, N.Y.) placed 156th out of 315 runners to lead the Mariners, with a time of 21:21.67 on the 5k course. Reigning NAC Rookie of the Week Nerissa Larrabee (Caribou, Maine) finished 191st overall with a time of 21:55, followed by Sierra James (Campton, N.H.) in 208th, Robyn Larrabee (Caribou, Maine) in 213th and Julia Dillon (Norway, Maine) in 218th.
Allison Decker won the race for East Stroudsburg with a time of 17:40.82, while Brandeis grabbed the team victory.
The Mariners return to action next weekend at the Bowdoin College Invitational.
