CASTINE, Maine – Maine Maritime Academy men's lacrosse fell to Colby College 19-0, on Tuesday evening in non-conference action at Ritchie Field.

The Mariners fall to 2-7 on the season with the loss, while the Mules improve to 5-6 overall. Maine Maritime returns to action on Friday, April 20 when they host Johnson State College for Senior Night at 4:00 pm.

Maine Maritime's Isaiah Weston (Mt. Vernon, Maine) was impressive in net, tallying six saves in just the first quarter to keep the Mules lead to 4-0, but the Mules added six goals in the second quarter to hold a commanding 10-0 lead at halftime and never looked back on their way to the 19-0 victory.

Weston ended the game with 15 saves in net for the Mariners, while the Mules had three goalies combine for four saves.

Max Barton (Yarmouth, Maine) led the Mariners with eight ground balls and three caused turnovers while William Evon (Barrington, Ill.) scooped up six ground balls and caused three turnovers and Christopher Flaherty (Scarborough, Maine) added three ground balls and a pair of caused turnovers.

Charlie Lynch, Derek Muse and Scott Miller led the Mules with three goals each, Joe Paolatto led the team with 11 ground balls.
