BRUNSWICK, Maine – Maine Maritime Academy women's cross country placed 51st out of 54 teams at Saturdays NCAA Regionals, host by Bowdoin College.
Senior Abigail L'Abbé (Topsham, Maine) was the Mariners top finisher placing 301st in the 380 runner field with a time of 27:33.92 on the 6k course. Freshman Lily Cook (Southwest Harbor, Maine) placed 330th with a time of 28:56.86.
Senior Nerissa Cyr (Caribou, Maine) crossed the finish line in 334th place with a time of 29:20.32, senior Jessica Lindsay (Limestone, Maine) finished 367th with a time of 34:16.34. Sophomore Hannah Skorapa (Lincoln, Maine) rounded out the Mariners top five finishers placing 377th with a time of 41:20.80.
Williams College placed five runners in the top 21 to claim the top overall team with a score of 64.
Massachusetts Institute of Technologys' Issi Gengaro claimed the top overall finisher with a time of 21:19.10.
