Series History: The Bengals hold a 9-18 overall record against the Mariners and a 7-6 edge when playing in Castine.

Last Meeting: Riley Jorgenson (Vienna, Va.) dropped a triple-double of 11 points, 15 rebounds and 12 assists and Nicholas DePatsy (Waldoboro, Maine) contributed a career and game-high 23 points, including five 3-pointers, to lead Maine Maritime Academy men's basketball to a 93-71 non-conference victory over UMaine-Fort Kent inside of Smith Gymnasium last season on January 22, 2019.

The Mariners shot 60.6 percent from the floor and splashed nine 3-pointers in the first half to take a commanding 50-30 lead into halftime.

Adam Richardson hit a layup to spark a nine-point run for the Mariners to open up the second half and gave the Mariners a 58-30 lead at 17:38. Riley MacLeod (Bucksport, Maine) scored eight-straight points to make it 68-35 at 13:30 and despite at 14-point run for the Bengals late in the half, the Mariners came away with the 93-71 victory.

Jorgenson added two steals to go along with his triple-double, while shooting 4-of-7 from the floor and DePatsy added four rebounds and two assists to his career-high.

Richardson ended the evening with 20 points, five assists, a rebound, a steal and a block, Andrew Liebert (Plano, Texas) contributed 11 points, seven rebounds, four assists and a steal and MacLeod rounded out the Mariners in double-figures with 10 points, five assists, a rebound, a steal and a block.

Jarid Walton led the Bengals with 21 points, four rebounds, two blocks and a steal, Chance Cole added 18 points, three rebounds and a steal and Jacob Powell contributed 13 points, four assists, three steals and two rebounds. Kwame Oduro chipped in with 12 points, five rebounds, and three steals.

The Mariners shot 62.5 percent from the floor and 54.5 percent from beyond the arc, while the Bengals shot 39.7 percent from the floor and just 20 percent from three-point land. The Mariners held a 38-22 advantage in rebounds.

Maine Maritime Academy's Last Game: Maine Maritime Academy men's basketball fell to Pine Manor College 95-69 on Saturday afternoon in non-conference action inside of Smith Gymnasium.

The Gators used a 10-point run to take a 24-14 lead at 11:18 and carried a 48-34 advantage into halftime.

The two teams exchanged baskets early in the second half, but the Gators held on to their double-digit lead to claim the win.

Andrew Liebert led the Mariners with 15 points, six rebounds, two assists, a steal and a block, while Devin Boone (Greenville, Maine) contributed a career-high 10 points to go along with five rebounds and an assist.

Jalen Williams led the Gators with 23 points, four assists, three rebounds and two steals, while Jamal Hamans recorded 19 points, seven rebounds, three steals and two assists. Sayvonn Houston tallied a double-double with 14 points and a game-high 10 rebounds, while also contributing a block and Jalen Bruce chipped in with 13 points, three steals, two assists and a rebound.

Maine Maritime shot 41.1 percent from the floor and 36.4 percent from three-point land, while the Gators shot 46.6 percent overall and 37.9 percent from beyond the arc. The Gators held a 48-35 advantage in rebounds.

University of Maine at Fort Kent's Last Game: UMaine-Fort Kent fell to the Pratt Institute, 80-65 last Friday afternoon.

Zeke McMurtry led all players with 25 points and 13 rebounds, while Bryce Gilbert and Mekhi Foreman each contributed 10 points.

The Bengals shot 31.6 percent from the floor and 22.7 percent from three, but held a 29-22 edge in rebounds.

The Mariners: After 14 games Maine Maritime averages 67.3 points, 33.6 rebounds and 15.4 assists per game, while shooting 42.5 percent from the floor, 37.1 percent from three-point land and 70.1 percent from the line.

Nicholas DePatsy leads the Mariners with 16.7 points per game, DeMerrill Levy (Houston, Texas) averages 12.6 points per game while leading the team with 5.6 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.6 steals per game.

The Bengals: After 21 games the Bengals average67.2 points, 36.0 rebounds and 13.3 assists per game, while shooting 41.0 percent from the floor, 30.8 percent from beyond the arc and 64.9 percent from the line.

Zeke Murtry leads the Bengals with 15.0 points and 7.9 rebounds per game, while Brandon Ruaro leads the team with 2.3 assists per game and Micah Petty leads the team with 1.6 steals per game.
