CASTINE, Maine – Maine Maritime women's swimming beat St. Joesph's College ME, 123-59 on Saturday afternoon.
Highlights:
• Relay team of Natasha Kopeck (Manchester Center, Vt.), Ellie Gellerson (Blue Hill, Maine), Kaitlyn Reny (Lewiston, Maine), and Liza Zhukov (Barrington, R.I.) placed second in the 200 Yard Medley (2:09.30), while Sage Dentremont (Swan's Island / Tremont, Maine), Brooke Foley (Mystic, Conn.), Eva Schulz (Evergreen, Colo.), and Ashlyn Royal (Bucksport, Maine) finished third (2:26.05)
• Zayna Dickson (Urbandale, Iowa) took first in the 1650 Yard Freestyle (21:49.35)
• Reny placed first in the 200 Yard Freestyle (2:22.95), while Schulz took second (2:23.18), and Royal placed third (3:09.15)
• Megan Durrua (Point Pleasant Beach, N.J.) took first in the 50 Yard Freestyle (27.95), while Sam Durkin (Green Lane, Penn.) took second (29.72) and Kopeck placed third (30.52)
• Zhukov placed second in the 200 Yard IM (2:39.97), while Dentremont took third (2:47.12)
• Milo Cook-Sharp (Cape Elizabeth, Maine) finished first in the 100 Yard Butterfly (1:12.33), while Reny placed second (1:15.78)
• Dickson took second in the 100 Yard Freestyle (35.82)
• Zhukov took first in the 50 Yard Backstroke (32.87), while Kopeck placed second (33.72) and Durkin took (35.61)
• Durrua finished second in the 500 Yard Freestyle (6:05.86), while Cook-Sharp took third (6:15.28)
• Gellerson took first in the 50 Yard Breaststroke (36.73)
• Durkin, Cook-Sharp, Dickson, and Durrua finished first in the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay (1:56.60)
