WATERVILLE, Maine – Maine Maritime women's soccer beat Thomas College, 2-0 in a North Atlantic Conference (NAC) matchup on Saturday afternoon. This win moves the Mariners to 4-1 in conference and first in the NAC East Division.

How it Happened: The Mariners got on the board in the 14
th minute when the Terriers scored an own goal, which was the only goal of the first half. After a scoreless 15 minutes in the second half,
Kirra Magaña (Miami, Fla.) found the back of the net, for her third goal of the season, to put the Mariners up by two in the conference win.

Inside the Numbers:
- The Terriers held a close 12-11 edge in shots and a 3-2 advantage in corner kicks over the Mariners.
- Bess MacArthur (Castine, Maine) tallied her fourth shutout with six saves on the afternoon for Maine Maritime.
- Lauren Bartlett recorded two saves for Thomas College.
