CASTINE, Maine – Maine Maritime women's soccer falls to UMaine-Farmington, 2-0 in a conference matchup on Saturday afternoon.

How it Happened: UMaine-Farmington scored quickly into the first half to give the Beavers a 1-0 lead. After about 40 minutes of play, the Beavers scored again to make the score 2-0 going into the second half. The Mariners had many opportunities to score in the second half, but couldn't finish on any of them.

Inside the Numbers:
- The Beavers held a 7-5 advantage in shots, while Maine Maritime held a 6-1 advantage in corner kicks over UMaine-Farmington.
- Bess MacArthur (Castine, Maine) tallied two saves in 90 minutes for the Mariners.
- Paige Gonya went untested in the first half for the Beavers and Lily Souza recorded three saves in the second.

Those seniors are: Kelsey Bern (Castle Rock, Washington), Bess MacArthur (Castine, Maine), Catherine Swift (Lunenberg, Mass.), and Suzanne Wooldridge (Corona, Calif.)
