BANGOR, Maine – Maine Maritime fell to Husson University, 6-0 to wrap up the regular season. The Mariners finished third in the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) East Division and will take on #2 UMaine-Farmington at #1 Husson University on Saturday, October 29 in the quarterfinals. The time is to be determined.
 
How it Happened: After a scoreless 20 minutes, the Eagles found the back of the net to get on the board. The 1-0 score held through halftime and Husson opened up in the second half, scoring five unanswered goals to beat the Mariners 6-0.
 
Inside the Numbers:

• Husson held a 28-5 edge in shots and an 8-0 advantage in corner kicks over the Mariners.
• Bess MacArthur (Castine, Maine) played 78:24 minutes for the Mariners, tallying seven saves, while Lorelei Mason (Gardiner, Maine) played the rest of the match, making one save.
• Madison Weigler recorded one save for the Eagles.
