ANGOR, Maine -- #3 Maine Maritime women's soccer upset #2 UMaine-Farmington, 2-0 in a North Atlantic Conference (NAC) quarterfinal matchup on Saturday afternoon.
 
How it Happened: After a scoreless first half, Hazel Stoddard (Old Orchard Beach, Maine) found the back of the net in the 54^th minute to put the Mariners on the board. Kelsey Bern (Castle Rock, Washington) added an insurance goal for Maine Maritime in the 80^th minute, assisted by Kirra Magaña (Miami, Fla.) to secure the 2-0 victory to advance to the NAC semifinals.
 
Inside the Numbers:

• Maine Maritime held a 12-9 advantage in shots and a 7-1 edge in corner kicks over the Beavers.
• Bess MacArthur (Castine, Maine) spend all 90 minutes in net for the Mariners, tallying three saves.
• Paige Gonya recorded four saves in net for the Beavers.
