How it Happened: The Broncos struck first against the Mariners and Sam Nichol (Concord, N.H.) answered when he found the back of the net to tie the game 1-1. SUNY Delhi then scored two quick goals before Alex Stevens (South Portland, Maine) ended the first quarter with a goal to make the score 3-2 in favor of the Broncos. Delhi came out strong in the second quarter, scoring three quick goals to extend their lead to 6-2. Zeke Tocci (Naples, Maine) ended the half with a goal to make the score 6-3 going into halftime.
Tocci started the second half with a man-up goal before the Broncos quickly answered with one of their own. Jayden Wilson (Lewiston, Maine) found Caden White (Woodstock, Vt.) for another man-up goal and the Broncos then scored two quick goals to make the score 9-5 with 7:25 left in the third. Wilson assisted on two more goals form Riley Morin (Harpswell, Maine) and Stevens then hit a goal of his own, while the Broncos scored a goal to make the score 10-8 at the end of the third quarter. The Broncos scored two goals in the fourth quarter, while Tocci scored one for the Mariners end the game with a score of 12-9 in favor of the Broncos.
Inside the Numbers: Tocci led the Mariners with three goals and two ground balls. Stevens added two goals, three ground balls, and one assist, while Wilson added three assists, three ground balls, and one goal. Nichol and Will Arnone (Barrington, R.I.) tied a game-high two caused turnovers.

How it Happened: Maine Maritime dominated the first quarter, scoring nine unanswered goals on the Hornets. Alex Stevens (South Portland, Maine) put the Mariners on the board with an unassisted goal, before Jacob Belanger (Brunswick, Maine) found Evan Golembeske (New Milford, Conn.) for a goal. Wilson (Lewiston, Maine) then scored two consecutive goals, assisted from Morin (Harpswell, Maine) and White (Woodstock, Vt.) to extend the Mariners' lead to four. Golembeske scored his second of the afternoon, before Tocci (Naples, Maine) scored off a pass from Owen Hansen (Bennington, Vt.). Wilson then scored two more goals, before Hansen found the back of the net once again to end the first quarter with a score of 9-0. Tocci assisted Stevens for a goal to start the second quarter, before Tocci found the back of the net himself for a goal. Wilson then scored off a pass from Chandler Coombs (Brunswick, Maine), before the Hornets scored their only goal of the game. Stevens and Wilson Higgins (Glenburn, Maine) each scored a goal to end the first half with a score of 14-1 in favor of the Mariners.
Stevens opened up the scoring in the second half for the Mariners with a goal, assisted by Belanger and Noah Caramihalis (York, Maine) quickly followed with a goal of his own. Nichol (Concord, N.H.) and Higgins scored one goal each, before Wilson scored his last goal of the afternoon off a pass from Brendan Reddington (Wallingford, Conn.). Morin and Reddington each scored one more goals in the fourth quarter to claim a 21-1 victory over the Hornets.

Morin tallied a game-high eight ground balls, along with a goal and assist, while William Davee (Hope, Maine), Brandon Gagne (South Portland, Maine), and Tocci each caused four turnovers.
Benjamin Cheever led the Hornets with their only goal, along with three ground ball and one caused turnover. Anthony Townsend tallied a team-high six ground balls, one assist, and one caused turnover. Luke Violante and Gilbert Flores each recorded two caused turnovers.
