CASTINE, Maine – Maine Maritime women's basketball beat NVU-Lyndon 76-40 in a North Atlantic Conference (NAC) matchup on Friday evening.

How it Happened: Maine Maritime came out strong with a 13-2 run to start the game, which set the tone for the rest of the game. The Mariners continued to put the pressure on the Hornets, ended the first half with a score of 39-16.

Maine Maritime continued to dominate the game in the second half, ending with a 76-40 victory against the Hornets.

- Maria Barela (Albuquerque, N.M.) led all scorers with 14 points, nine rebounds, four assists, and three steals.
- Grace Huntwork (Gretna, Neb.) added 12 points to the mix, along with three rebounds.

- Both Kiara Mack and Sage Smith tallied eight points for the Hornets.
