JOHNSON, Vt. – Mariners volleyball earned a 3-0 win over Northern Vermont University-Johnson to move to 9-0 in North Atlantic Conference (NAC) play.
The Mariners had dominate openings in each set scoring six straight in set one, five straight in set two, and began set three scoring three in a row. In all three sets, the Mariners held their lead for the full duration of the set.
Chloe Weeks, who led the Mariners with 12 kills, had back to back kills to score points two and three of the second set as well as back to back kills to open up set three. Weeks also strung together two kills to score the final points in the third set.
More leaders for MMA include
Hunnie Zuber-Stephens who led the Mariners in aces (4) and digs (19) and
Katie Albritton who finished the contest with 13 assists.
Ally Hadley also had a strong showing for the Mariners ending the night with seven kills, two aces, six digs, and one assist.
The Mariners finish up NAC conference play tomorrow at 12:00 PM against Northern Vermont University-Lyndon.
