CASTINE, Maine – Maine Maritime men's lacrosse beat Husson University 31-12 in a North Atlantic Conference (NAC) matchup on Wednesday evening to stay undefeated in conference play.
Jayden Wilson (Lewiston, Maine) tallied eight goals and six assists for a total of 14 points to become the school's all-time leader in career points with 234.

How it Happened: Maine Maritime started off strong with a goal from
Jacob Hintermaier (Macon, Ga.) assisted by
Evan Golembeske (New Milford, Conn.) to spark an 4-0 run. The Eagles were able to get one goal in the first quarter, as the Mariners took a commanding 8-1 lead. The Mariners put up another eight goals in the second quarter, while Husson only scored three, to make the score 16-4 going into the half.

The Eagles regrouped after the half, outscoring the Mariners 5-3 in the third quarter to make the score 19-9 heading into the fourth quarter. Maine Maritime was able to hold onto their lead in the fourth quarter to claim a 31-12 conference victory.

- Wilson led the Mariners with eight goals and six assists, along with six ground balls.
- Sam Nichol (Concord, N.H.), recorded five goals and three assists.
- Trey Marcil (Gansevoort, N.Y.), Hintermaier, and Brendan Reddington (Wallingford, Conn.) had four goals each. Reddington also tallied five assists on the night.
- Jacob Belanger (Brunswick, Maine) had three goals each and three other Mariners had one goal each.

- Garrett Ruszkowski (Saugus, Mass.) got the win for the Mariners with five saves, while Zach McCarthy (Malvern, Pa.) had 10 saves. Odin Burk tallied 19 saves for the Eagles.
- Maine Maritime held a 79-42 advantage in shots and a 51-33 edge in ground balls over the Eagles.
