CASTINE, Maine – Maine Maritime men's lacrosse beat SUNY Cobleskill 24-6 in a North Atlantic Conference (NAC) on Sunday afternoon to wrap up the weekend.
Jayden Wilson (Lewiston, Maine) becomes the fourth Maine Maritime men's lacrosse player to reach 200 career points with eight goals and three assists today.

How it Happened: The Fighting Tigers were first on the board with a goal within the first minute of play. The Mariners responded with five straight goals, sparked by a goal from
Sam Nichol (Concord, N.H.) to make the score 5-1 at the end of the first quarter. SUNY Cobleskill scored first again in the second quarter before the Mariners went on an eight-goal run to extend their lead to 13-2 going into halftime.

The third quarter was more of the same action with Maine Maritime dominating play, putting up another eight goals, while the Fighting Tigers only scored one. SUNY Cobleskill came alive in the fourth quarter, but it was too little too late and the Mariners took a 24-6 conference victory.

- Wilson led the Mariners with a game-high eight goals and three assists, along with four ground balls and two caused turnovers.
- Jacob Hintermaier (Macon, Ga.) added five goals and two assists, in addition to four caused turnovers and one ground ball.
- Alex Stevens (South Portland, Maine) chipped in four goals, while Brendan Reddington (Wallingford, Conn.) and Nichol each added two goals.
- Jed Astbury (Bridgewater, Vt.) went 19-26 from the faceoff and picked up seven ground balls.
- Sean D'Amaro tallied three goals, while three others had one goal each for the Fighting Tigers.
- Zach McCarthy (Malvern, Pa.) got the win for the Mariners with nine saves, while Sean McMahan had 22 saves for the Fighting Tigers.
- The Mariners held a 67-32 advantage in shots and a 40-11 edge in ground balls over the Fighting Tigers.
