Women’s Soccer Downs Gordon College 2-1

WENHAM, Mass – Maine Maritime Academy women's soccer won their Wednesday night match against Gordon College 2-1.
 
Goal #1 (MMA 1-0): The Mariners got on the board first with an unassisted goal from Olivia Pye scored in minute 21.
 
Goal #2 (MMA 2-0): Kirra Magaña extended the Mariners lead scoring just five minutes after Pye with an unassisted goal. Hazel Stoddard earned the assist, her first of the season.
 
Goal #3 (Gordon 2-1): Gordon scored their solo goal of the night in minute 68 by Allie Larue unassisted.
 
Notes
  • Isa Thesing played the full 90 minutes in net for the Mariners, ending the night with six saves.
  • For Gordon, Emily Bengtson stayed in net  he full 90, finishing with two saves.
  • Hazel Stoddard, Kirra Magaña, and Annabella Scolaro played the full 90 minutes on the field for MMA.
