CASTINE, Maine–
Erianna Moore set a new Maine Maritime Academy women's basketball (11-4,6-0) record for most points scored in a single game, ending with 37. Moore helped lead the Mariners to a 72-67 win over fellow North Atlantic Conference (NAC) competitor the Husson University Eagles (8-9,4-3) and extend their win streak to five games.

Moore earned a double-double adding 11 rebounds, three steals, two assists, and two steals to her record breaking night.

The Mariners and Husson kept things back and forth through the first half. With the game tied at 27 in the second quarter, the Mariners went on a five-point run to take their biggest lead of the first half. MMA went into halftime with a 34-32 lead.

After more back and forth in the third the Mariners and Eagles found the game tied at 52 a piece. Maine Maritime responded with a six-point run to take the lead that they held for the remainder of the game. The Mariners held their ground in the fourth and closed out the contest to stay perfect in NAC play.

Seven different Mariners scored in the contest.
Maria Barela ended the night in double figures with 13 points, five rebounds, four steals, and two assists.
Sydney Briscoe rounded out the top three scorers for the Mariners, adding nine points, six rebounds, three assists, and two steals.
