CASTINE, Maine– All fifteen members of the Maine Maritime Academy Mariners women's basketball team (12-4,7-0) scored a bucket in their win over the Lesley University Lynx (0-16,0-8). The Mariners earned a 94-32 victory.
 
The Mariners came out with a hot start in the contest, outscoring the Lynx 22-6 in the first quarter. MMA continued to dominate the game including Sydney Anderson scoring the final five points of the first half that helped put the Mariners up 51-16.
 
Maine Maritime continued their impressive performance, outscoring the Lynx 43-16 in the second half to secure the victory.
 
Sydney Loring led the way for the Mariners, scoring 15 points, two rebounds, and one steal. Jacquelin Castro and Erianna Moore each ended the night in double figures. Castro finished the night with 14 points, five rebounds, one assist, and two steals. Moore completed the game with 11 points, seven rebounds, four assists, one block, and one steal.
 
The Mariners return to the court versus Lesley tomorrow at 3:00 pm.
