CASTINE, Maine– Maine Maritime Academy Mariners women's basketball team (13-4,8-0) defeated the Lesley University Lynx (0-17,0-9) and remain perfect in North Atlantic Conference (NAC) play with a 102-24 victory.

Crista Link led the Mariners and scored a new career high 19 points. Link also added two rebounds and one assist.

The Mariners had a strong start in the contest, scoring the first 17 points unanswered. The Mariners went on to outscore the Lynx 59-10 in the first half. The second half was more of the same for MMA, outscoring Lesley 43-14 to secure their victory.

The Mariners shot an impressive 58.2% from the field and 50% from behind the arc. Fourteen Mariners scored in the contest.
Jacquelin Castro ended the afternoon in double figures for the Mariners scoring 10, grabbing six rebounds, and dishing out two assists.
Evelyn Dagan and
Sydney Briscoe rounded out the top scorers for MMA, each adding nine.
