CASTINE--The Maine Maritime Academy sailing team had another busy weekend highlighted by competing for the
McMillan Cup, which is the oldest trophy in collegiate sailing, hosted by Navy in Annapolis, Md., and
Oberg Trophy hosted by Northeastern University in Boston, Mass.
The Mariners placed seventh out of nine schools in the McMillan Cup, scoring 28 points--just one shy of sixth and four of fifth. Seniors

Finn Weeden,
Henri Richardson, juniors
Jonah Beasley,
Sarah Shank and sophomore
Aiden Pepperd were on the boat.
At the Oberg Trophy, MMA was 18th with 368 points. Freshmen
Jane Marvin and
Simone Ford led the Mariners in Division A with a team-best 104 points for 16th.
Maine Maritime will travel to New Haven, Conn., for the Yale University-hosted Schell Trophy next Saturday and Sunday.
