Mariners Close Regular Season With 14th-Straight Win

CASTINE, Maine – Maine Maritime had four score in double figures as the Mariners toppled Thomas 67-39 in North Atlantic Conference (NAC) action Monday night. The win was the Mariners 14th in as many games, completed the regular season with an unblemished conference record, and secured the eighth season in program history in which Maine Maritime recorded 20 wins.

While Briscoe did her work beneath the basket, Huntwork cashed in from afar going 3-of-7 from beyond the arc. Her trey with 3:40 remaining in the first quarter sparked a 13-0 Mariners run that put the game on ice early. Huntwork recorded three rebounds and a steal.

Erianna Moore scored 10 points and gathered nine rebounds, three assists and blocked two shots. Jacquelin Castro dumped in 11 points grabbed four rebounds, blocked a pair of shots and had a steal coming off the bench.
