SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine– Maine Maritime Academy women's basketball team (18-4) defeated the Southern Maine Community College Seawolves (17-6) 84-41 and extended their win streak to 12.
The Mariners opened up the contest on a 10-0 run. Maine Maritime continued to build on their momentum and went into halftime with a 45-21 lead. The Mariners went on to have a big third quarter, outscoring the Seawolves 23-6. Maine Maritime held onto the lead and secured the 43 point win.

Erianna Moore led the way for the Mariners with 22 points, five assists, three rebounds, one steal, and one block.
Sydney Briscoe finished the night with a double-double off of 10 points and 11 rebounds.
Evelyn Dagan scored 14 and
Grace Huntwork finished with 10 to round out the Mariners top scorers. Maine Maritime completed the night shooting 45.5% from the field.

The Mariners continue on the road for their next game against North Atlantic Conference opponent Thomas College on Saturday, Feb. 10 at 3:00 pm.
