WATERVILLE, Maine –
Trey Marcil and
Jackson Fitch each score two goals as the Mariners fall to NESCAC opponent Colby College 30-5 on Tuesday evening.

The Mules came out strong, scoring the first four goals of the evening before Fitch found the back of the net in an unassisted goal six minutes into the match. Colby scored another goal before Marcil hit
Alex Stevens for the Mariners' second goal of the night. Marcil then scored the next two goals for Maine Maritime, going into the half with a score of 17-4.Â

The Mules dominated the second half, outscoring the Mariners 13-1. Fitch scored the only second half Mariner goal in the third quarter.

Mules out shot the Mariners 62-22 and held a 57-18 advantage in ground balls.
Bryce Crowell went 10-34 from the X for the Mariners, with
Cole Michaud going 2-5 on the night as well.Â

Garrett Ruszkowski started in net for the Mariners making 10 saves and
Will Farrell relieved him in the second half, making four saves. Will Heisler and Will Rickards were in net for the Mules, making one and three saves respectively.
