FARMINGTON, Maine--Senior Kirra Magaña scored all four goals--including the game-winner with 29 seconds left--to lift the visiting Maine Maritime Academy women's soccer team to a thrilling 4-3 victory Saturday over UMaine-Farmington at Leib Field. Maine Maritime improves to 3-2-1 on the season and 2-1 in the North Atlantic Conference, while the Beavers fall to 2-4-1 overall and 0-1-1 in the conference.

  • Mahmood staked UMF to a 1-0 lead on an assist by Abby Lash.
  • But MMA and Magaña equalized just 65 seconds later.
  • Magaña put the Mariners in the lead for good in the 16th minute with her second goal
  • Tracy's goal in the 31st minute tied things back up, 2-2, which was the halftime score.
  • It remained that way until the teams combined for three goals in the final 5 minutes and 35 seconds--with Magaña sandwiching her final two of the day in the 84th and 90th minutes around Dwyer in the 85th.
