Box Score GORHAM, Maine--The Maine Maritime Academy men's soccer team rallied twice to forge a 2-2 tie at Southern Maine at Hannaford Field on Wednesday evening. The visiting Mariners are now 0-1-1 on the season while the Huskies stand at 0-1-2. Due to new NCAA playing rules this season, teams do not play an overtime period during the regular season.

- Kristof Manni also scored two goals.
- Starting keeper Aldo Bryant made two saves and Gabe Wagner, who stopped one shot, played the second half. Both goalies gave up a goal.
How It Happened
- Baur scored his second of the night in the 87th minute to draw MMA even.
- Manni put USM back in front 2-1 in the 57th minute.
- Baur tied it 1-1 for MMA in the 41st minute as the teams went into halftime with that score.
- Manni staked USM to a 1-0 advantage in the 5th minute.
- USM had a late chance to get the game-winner, but Jack Brady's shot was blocked by the MMA defense with 32 seconds remaining.
- The Huskies won the shooting battle, 15-9 (8-5 with shots on goal), but the Mariners kept offensive pressure by creating seven corner kicks.
