CASTINE--The Maine Maritime Academy women's basketball team used a suffocating defense to blow past visiting Thomas College, 64-36, in North Atlantic Conference East Division action at Smith Gymnasium on Wednesday evening. The Mariners improve to 12-3 on the season and 6-0 in the NAC-East, while the Terriers drop to 4-11 overall and 4-3 in the conference.
